The Batesville Girls Varsity Tennis team defeated East Central 4-1 on Tuesday.
#1 Singles- Alana Pinckley lost 4-6, 6-7 (8).
#2 Singles= Rachael Rose won 6-2, 6-3.
#3 Singles- Audrey Weigel won 6-1, 6-0.
#1 Doubles= Anna Kick and Julia Hunter won 6-0, 6-3.
#2 Doubles- Baylee Rohlfing and Corinne Stone won 6-0, 6-0.
The JV also won 6-2. Sophie Brown, Jenna Ertel, and Maggie Walsman, and Audrey Amberger won in singles. In doubles, the teams of Maggie Schwettman & Kate Poltrack and Tori Kurtz & Ella Gutzwiller were winners.
Batesville is 2-1 on the season and 2-0 in the EIAC. They will play Franklin County at home on Thursday at 4:30.
