Batesville Bulldogs hosted the Lawrenceburg Tigers tonight and came out to a quick lead in the 1st inning with a 2-0 lead and then were unable to score anymore runs despite having bases loaded 3 times in the 4th 6th and 7th innings. The Tigers scored 2 in the 3rd, 1 in the 5th and 1 in the 7th which ended the game in a 4-2 loss for the Bulldogs.
Sarah Meyer went 3-4 in the game with a triple.
The Bulldogs dropped to 5-17 on the season and 2-9 in the conference.
Batesville Bulldogs traveled to East Central after playing Lawrenceburg at home. East central scored a run in the 1st inning and Batesville matched that with a run of their own. In the second inning East Central scored 6 and wet not able to recover from the deficit eventually ending the game in 5 innings 12-2.
The Bulldogs were lead by Kara Obermeyer going 2-2 with a double and and Kelsey Huffner and Ellie Waechter going 1-2.
The Bulldogs dropped to 5-18 on the season 2-11 in conference play.
