Lady Bulldogs Get Hat Trick Against Lady Cats

Dogs sweep Wildcats in all levels of play.

According to Freshman Coach Erin Trenkamp, it was their best defensive effort to date. They all worked as one covering the blockers and hitters to pull out the 2-1 win: 25-10, 23-25, 15-10.

From JV Coach Shelly Prickel: The Batesville JV volleyball team continued their success vs. conference rivals with a dominating 25-11, 25-12 victory over Franklin County. Maggie Walsman led the team with 9 service points while connecting on all 11 of her serves. Lily Abplanalp earned 7 points in her 9 perfect service attempts. Anna Bauer continued her aggressive attack with 4 kills in the front line. The team is now 6-0.

At the varsity, we started working our attack at the service line accounting for 21 Aces on the evening with #3 Morgan Myer taking a third of the total. Balance that our with another 50+ dig match and some consistent swings from several players, and the balance we were looking to find is starting to take shape. Great team effort using the bench and mixing it up a bit. Varsity scores with dogs taking the W: 21-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-9.

We will welcome East Central on Thursday evening 8/24. All levels of play will happen in the BHS main gym with freshman starting @ 5:00 followed by JV & Varsity.
