The Batesville 7th Grade Volleyball team won against South Ripley last night: 25-10 and 25-12.
Cayman Werner was the leading sever with 9 serves and 5 aces. Timbre Davies added 4 aces, Jenna Honnert and Kennedy Westrick each had 2 aces. Tiffany Hawker and Jadyn Harrington added good set for the team to hit. Ashlee Cornn and Cayman Werner lead the team with 2 kills each.
Their record is 2-1.
The BMS volleyball fought 3 tough games to defeat South Ripley 24-25, 25-24, 15-13.
The team was aggressive and never quit. Shelby Westerfeld earned 3 kills. Brayleigh Patterson had 2 kills, and Sophie Lee, Jade Kopp, Katie Shane, and Ellen Bauer each connected on 1 kill each. Carley Pride earned a stuff block against the Raider attack. Top servers were Sydnee Schaeffer with 9 points; including 7 aces. Shelby Westerfeld and Brayleigh Westerfeld each earned 6 points with 2 aces. Katie Shane had 5 points including 1 ace. Jade Kopp earned 4 points including 2 aces.
