Kimberly Ann Yorn, of Sunman, was born on February 9, 1960 in Lawrenceburg, a daughter to Ralph and Areeda Short Calhoun. She married the love of her life, Kelvin Yorn, on July 31, 1976 in Newport, Kentucky. Together they raised three children. Kimberly enjoyed time with her family and reading her bible. She had an infectious laugh and the kindest heart. Kimberly always saw the best in people and never met a stranger. She also possessed a special love for all animals. On Saturday, December 12, 2020 at the age of 60, she passed away unexpectedly at her residence.
Those surviving who will deeply miss Kimberly include her husband, Kelvin; children, Dan’l (Amy) Yorn of Milan, Kendra (Del) Pierson of Versailles, and Brian (Sarah) Yorn of Osgood; 12 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; one sister, Jeralyn (Keith) Scheible of Greensburg; 5 brothers, Ron (Pam) Calhoun of Morris, Dan (Mary Jo) Calhoun, Tim (Kim) Calhoun, Cliff (Lynn) Calhoun and Clay (Bev) Calhoun, all of Sunman, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 107 Vine Street, Sunman. Services will be officiated by Charles Combs and burial will follow in Little Memory Church Cemetery.
