Kenneth D. (Peevine) Miller, age 83, of Metamora, Indiana died Saturday evening, July 20, 2024 at his residence surrounded by family, following a lengthy illness.
Born February 1, 1941 in Central City, Kentucky he was the son of the late Marion T. & Dortha June (Stanley) Miller. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He and the former Annie Pennington were united in marriage on September 21, 1990, and she survives, along with their twin sons, Kevin J. Miller and Keith G. Miller.
Kenneth was retired having been a coal miner in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting and fishing; shooting and farming. He was a member of the Madisonville Masonic Lodge #143 F. & A.M.
Besides Annie, his wife of 34 years, survivors include four children, Cynthia Fay Miller of Crestwood, Kentucky; Marion Bourland of White Plains, Kentucky; Kevin J. Miller of Clarksburg, Indiana and Keith G. Miller of Metamora, Indiana; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Jolene Brendle of Madisonville, Kentucky as well as brothers, James T. Miller of Owensboro, Kentucky and Lyndell L. Miller of Beaver Dam, Kentucky.
Family & friends may gather after 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Cupps Chapel Cemetery, State Road 229, Metamora.
Rev. Wayne Ison will officiate the graveside service on Saturday, July 27, 2024; 12:00 Noon, at Cupps Chapel Cemetery, State Road 229, Metamora. Immediately following the graveside their will be fellowship and food at the Metamora Church of God, 20152 U.S. Highway 52.
