With heavy hearts and loving memories, we announce the passing of Kathy Ann Miller, age 76, of Sunman and longtime resident of Brookville, Indiana. Kathy passed peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving a legacy of strength, courage, determination and unwavering love.
Kathy was born October 8, 1949, in Batesville, Indiana to her parents Phillip and Ethel Allen. She graduated from William Henry Harrison High School in 1967. On August 17, 1968, Kathy was united in marriage to Floyd Charles Miller, Jr. in Miamitown, Ohio.
A devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she delighted in the laughter and company of family and friends, the companionship of her beloved dogs, the pages of a good novel, attending concerts, watching a favorite movie, and her work at Sacksteder Interiors. Kathy always had a special gift for tending to every detail inside and out of the home she and Floyd built together, keeping it warm, welcoming and beautiful in every way. Some of her happiest memories were spent cheering on her children and grandchildren at sporting events and dance competitions. She was in the stands with a heart full of pride and was always their biggest fan.
Her memory will be lovingly cherished forever by her children, Phillip (Misty) Miller of Connersville, Matthew (Jayme) Miller of West Harrison, Lindsay (Andrew) Schultz of West Harrison; her grandchildren, Tanner (Madison) Miller, Kylie (Brent) Frank, and Addalynn Schultz; great-granddaughter Sloane Frank.
