Karl “Fred” Lutes, age 60 of the Napoleon community passed away early Monday November 20, 2017. He was born on February 7, 1957 the son of the late Richard and Velma (Kindelsparker) Lutes in Batesville, IN.
Fred grew up in Napoleon area and attended the local school. He entered the workforce early on, and spent 40 years plus working for Schuler Products of Napoleon before his retirement.
Fred is survived by daughter Jamie Crowell of Versailles, son Lance Blade of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, brothers Arthur, Darryl, and Jerry all of Napoleon, and a sister, Barb Youngman also of Napoleon, along with 3 grandchildren Jacob, John and Samuel Crowell of Versailles.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 25, 2017 at 4:30 pm. at Solid Rock Bible Fellowship Church in Napoleon, with doors opening at 4:00. In Lieu of flowers memorials can be given to the family in care of Neal’s Funeral Home.
