Karen June Adams, age 55 of Batesville, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022. She was born on December 20, 1966 in Batesville to Delza Amburgey Jr. and Anna Corine Hammond (nee Short).
The 1985 Milan High School graduate went on to earn an associate’s degree from Ivy Tech and made the Dean’s list as well. She was a member of Little Memory Church in Sunman and married Anthony “Bubba” Adams.
Karen loved her family and her pets. Her greatest joys in life were her kids and her grandkids. She enjoyed reading, binge watching her favorite shows, gambling at bingo or the casino, and being in the kitchen cooking for everyone. She will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends and everyone that knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Erica Adams (Brandon John) and son, Colton Adams; grandchildren, Izabella and Jax John; siblings, Teresa Ann Amburgey, Diana Fugate (Paul) and Candace Dawn Hammond; along with nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews plus sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and step-mother, Kathy Amburgey.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bubba and daughter, Cierra Adams.
Visitation will be Monday, December 12, 2022 from 5-7pm with a 7:00pm memorial service all at Meyers Funeral Home in Batesville.
