Versailles, In. — A Ripley County jury was unable to reach a verdict in a case involving child pornography and suspected molestation. Ralph Wilson was found not guilty for possession of child pornography and the jury could not reach a verdict on two counts of child molesting.
Ripley County Prosecutor Ric Hertel plans to meet with Indiana State Police and the family of the victims prior to making a decision about a retrial.
Hertel, said, “It’s very difficult for victims to testify once much less an additional time and they would be required to do so.”
Wilson also faces child molesting and escape charges in Jennings County.
