John H. Laudick, 80, Greensburg, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Morning Breeze in Greensburg. Born, October 26, 1936 in Batesville, Indiana, he was the son of Albert J. and Muriel L. (Walterman) Laudick. John graduated in 1955 from Clarksburg High School. He was a former owner of the Laudick Brothers Texaco Station in Greensburg. In 1955 he married Mila Woodard. John was a member of the American Legion, The Eagles Lodge, and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed all sports, especially fishing and bowling. He had a special love for horses and was a speculator on the outcome of sporting events. He loved spending time socializing with friends and family. He is survived by one son, Denny (Heidi) Laudick, Enochsburg; three daughters, Linda (John) Humpert, Greensburg, Jane Eckert, Greenwood, Julie Himes, Greensburg; one brother, Jimmy Laudick, Greensburg; one sister, Joann M. Lecher, Greensburg; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Rick Laudick; son-in-law, Phil Eckert; brother, Charles “Mike” Laudick; brother-in-law, Dan Lecher; sister-in-law, Annie Laudick. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4 to 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the funeral home with Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Mary’s Cemetery.
