Joan & John Hillenbrand VISION Fund for Innovation fuels BCSC programs

Batesville, In. — The Batesville Community School Corporation recently received more than $9,800 in grants from the Joan and John Hillenbrand VISION Fund for Innovation.

Superintendent Paul Ketcham says, “We take pride in finding niches for students whether its sports, the arts or academics and support from the Joan and John Hillenbrand VISION Fund for Innovation allows us to that.”

Here are the awards:

$2,000 for your “World Music Clinics and Concert” grant request for Batesville Middle School and Batesville High School.

$2,000 for your “Industrial Robotics and Automation” grant request for Batesville High School.

$292 for your “Technology Tools for the Modern Classroom” grant request for Batesville High School.

$1,000 for your “Professional Choreographer for BMS Musical” grant request for Batesville Middle School.

“Continued Growth of Student Film in Batesville”. Your budget showed expenses at $1,918, but your principal indicated that Batesville High Shcool would supply $600 for the program, so we are awarding you $1,319.

$2,793 for your “Osmo Educational Game System” grant request for Batesville Primary School.

$400 for your “Hands-On Computer Programming Drones” grant request for Batesville High School.
