Jim Zinser of Weisburg, IN passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the age of 84. He is the beloved husband of Marlene (Gutzwiller) Zinser with whom he just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past June. If he wasn’t working on the farm, Jim could be found with his favorite hobby, fishing. He loved to fish for bluegill and bass. He also loved to throw horseshoes, but had switched it up for cornhole in recent years. Jim also used to be a member of North Dearborn Conservation Club and worked for Aurora Casket Company for 43 years, retiring in 1998.
Jim will be greatly missed by his best friend and wife Marlene, as well as their 4 children, Luann (Mark) Konradi of Milan, Marilyn (Paul) Hountz of Sunman, Ronald Zinser of Sunman, and Daniel (Marvina) Zinser of Sunman. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Chad (Lindsay) Konradi and Brandon Konradi, Zach (Kayla) and Jenna Hountz, and Mackenzie Zinser; as well as 3 great grandchildren, Isaiah and Zane Hountz and Caleb Konradi; and sister-in-law Mary Zinser. Jim is preceded in death by his parents Lillian and Albert Zinser, brother Bob Zinser and sister Joyce Rush.
Visitation will be held at Andres-Wuestefeld Funeral Home on Saturday, August 3 from 9:00-11:00 a.m., beginning with Rosary. Mass of Christian burial will be held at All Saints Parish, St. Paul’s Campus at 11:30 a.m. with burial immediately following.Memorials can be made to Family Wishes or Masses.
