(Osgood, IN) – Jac-Cen-Del Community Schools are closed today for the visitation and funeral for Carson Hughes.
Visitation begins at Noon in the high school gym followed by funeral services at 5 p.m.
The 18-year-old Hughes was found dead in six feet of water at Versailles State Park last Sunday after he went missing two days earlier.
His artwork will be on sale during the visitation, with proceeds benefitting the Carson Hughes Memorial Fund.
Meanwhile, the Delaware Volunteer Fire Department raised $24,250 for the Carson Hughes Memorial Fund at their Friday evening fish fry.
A total of 1,442 meals were served in a three-hour period.
