There were other area high school basketball teams playing hoops on January 4 besides the four we presented during the Ripley County Girls Tournament from Osgood.

Rushville defeated Franklin County 48-31.
This EIAC game in Brookville was an 18-14 game at halftime favoring Rushville. The Lions then outscored the host Wildcats 22-9 in the third period.
Rushville saw Sophia Dora and Annika Marlow log 15 points each. Dora also dominated the glass with 14 rebounds. Both players posted three assists.
Franklin County’s Kassidy Schell netted 11 points. Teammate Nicole Mears put in 10.
Hauser posted a 60-55 win over Monrovia.
At The Hangar in Hope, the Lady Jets Madelyn Poe racked up 32 points. Kyliegh Parrott and Norah Berkenstock followed with 11 and nine respectively.
And East Central lost in the Buckeye State at Mt. Notre Dame 45-31.
