James “Jim” Snyder, age 80 of Harrison, Ohio passed away Wednesday, September 11, 2019 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born June 13, 1939 in Colerain Township, Ohio the son of Henry and Frances Snyder.
Jim graduated from Colerain High School and worked as a Diesel Mechanic for many years for Rumpke retiring in December 28, 2001. Jim loved to garden his greatest joy was planting flowers and vegetables and watching them grow, avid bowler and enjoyed tossing horse shoes.
Jim is survived by his sons Jimmy Snyder and Ryan (Hilary) Snyder. Grandfather of Hannah (Justin) Gaudiello, Hayden Courtney and Jacob Snyder. Brother of Stanley (Patty) Snyder, Larry Snyder and Bradley Colegate. Also survived by his beloved dog CeCe.
Preceded in death by his parents Henry Snyder and Francis Colegate, daughter Jamey Oliver and brother Francis Colegate.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral services at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Shawn Crisman officiating all at Jackman Hensley Funeral Home 215 Broadway Street Harrison, Ohio 45030. Burial will follow at Miamitown Cemetery Miamitown, Ohio.
