Jack Brummett, 67, of Milan passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was born Monday, October 19, 1953 in Connersville, Indiana to Robert Brummett and Erma (McKee) Wilson. Jack married his wife Barbara (Jett) Brummett on Monday, May 12, 1980 and she survives. He spent many years working for Batesville Casket Company and enjoyed wood working, coin collecting, antiques, old cars, animals, and spending time with his family.
Jack is survived by his wife, Barbara Brummett of Milan; son Billy Brummett (Angie) of Greenfield; daughters Karena (Dewey) Brummett of Greenfield, Nikki Klein (Michael) of Milan, Dawn Fortner (Jerald) of Greenfield, Lelia Brummett Storms of Milan, Sarah Brummett Cobble of Aurora; mother Erma Wilson of Metamora; brother John Brummett of Metamora and Danny Wilson; sisters Theresa Lanning of Connersville and Carol Ison; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Brummett, stepfather Cecil Wilson, step siblings Bill Wilson, Junior Wilson, Sammy Wilson, Wilma Allen, and niece Mindy Knippenberg.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember Jack on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 5 PM to 7 PM at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan. A service will follow at 7 PM with pastor Dave Guilfoyle officiating. Memorials may be given in honor of Jack to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
