Ivy Tech honors Lawrenceburg instructor

Lawrenceburg, IN — Ivy Tech Community College selected 18 adjunct faculty members from across the state to receive the tenth annual Adjunct Faculty Award for Excellence in Instruction. The Gerald I. Lamkin Award, named after the former Ivy Tech President, recognizes an adjunct faculty member who exhibits excellence in instruction and represents the mission of the College.

Margaret Stewart, an instructor for Lawrenceburg’s campus, was among the 18 faculty members honored as a recipient of this year’s award in a virtual statewide ceremony. Stewart began her career at Ivy Tech in the spring of 2000. During her time at Ivy Tech, she has taught courses ranging from Basic Skills through Finite Skills and Statistics. She currently teaches Quantitative Reasoning.
