Local Covid-19 cases remain over 100 new per day

Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 6,143 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Wednesday. A total of 268,222 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 1,989,456 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 13.5% positive rate and 60 new deaths were reported for a total of 4,830 Hoosiers have died across the state.

Dearborn County has a total of 1,816 cases and 30 deaths reported (up 50 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 1,085 positive cases and 42 deaths (up 15 new cases and 1 new death), Franklin County has 571 positive cases and 25 deaths (up 12 new cases), and Ripley County has 1,018 positive cases and 13 deaths (up 36 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 113 new positive cases and 2 new deaths.
