It’s a Free Fishing Weekend in Indiana

(Statewide) – Saturday and Sunday (June 7 and 8) are Free Fishing Days around the State of Indiana.

On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or trout/salmon stamps on the state’s public waters.

All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits apply.

Indiana DNR says this is an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.

The next – and last Free Fishing Day of the year – will be September 27.
