ISDH announces 42 new deaths and new cases of COVID-19

Positive Cases per County

The Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) today announced that 642 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19.  A total of 10,154 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus.  To date, 54,785 tests have been reported to ISDH and a total of 519 Hoosiers have died to date.

Locally, Decatur County has a total of 165 positive cases and 17 deaths (up 5 cases and 3 deaths, respectively), Franklin County has stayed at 87 positive cases and 7 deaths, and Ripley County numbers have shifted down to 77 positive cases (up 1 case) and 3 deaths. The changes in Ripley and Franklin County are due to Batesville residents that live in Franklin County being counted in the incorrect County.
