Hayden Matthew Powers, 19

Hayden Matthew Powers, 19, of Greensburg passed away on April 15, 2020 at Methodist Hospital. His last heroic act was donating the gift of life through organ donation. Hayden was born on November 27, 2000, the son of Chastity Powers and David Heath. He went to Greensburg Community High School and later worked with family at Fagen, Inc. out of Michigan as a scaffold builder, working his way towards a journeyman.

Hayden was a child of God and was baptized on September 16, 2001 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He had the most contagious laugh, a smile that would melt your heart, he was the most loyal friend and loved his family beyond measure. Hayden also had a love for music and above all his Granny.

Survivors include: Mother, Chastity Powers (Jason Reid); Father, David Heath; Grandmother Angela Miller; Brother, Liam Powers; Aunts, Amanda (Stephen) Vires, Brandi Miller, and Lisa (Brian Stanley) Black; Uncles, David (Kayla) Miller and Bill (Amber) Dyer. He had several cousins and was preceded in death by his grandfather David Miller, Sr.

Due to the current health restrictions there will be a private graveside service at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery with Father John Meyer officiating. The family appreciates your prayers and all the request for helping them during this tragic time.
