Irvin L. Hardebeck, 92, Millhousen, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at the Aspen Place Health Campus in Greensburg. Born, June 11, 1924 in Millhousen, Indiana, he was the son of George and Rose (Redelman) Hardebeck. Irvin had farmed and then was a handyman for several years. He was a former member of the Knights of St. John in Millhousen and a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was married to Elsie M. Lecher on September 16, 1948 and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2013. He is survived by two sons, Patrick Hardebeck, Millhousen, Phillip Hardebeck, Atlanta, GA; one brother, Arthur Hardebeck, Chicago, IL; two sisters, Clara Marie Wagner, Osgood, Eleanor Stephanic, Colorado; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; daughter, Jane Ann Hardebeck; brothers, George, Maurice, Edward, Leonard, Carl, and Raymond Hardebeck; sister, Geneva Tunny. Family and friends will gather at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home for a prayer service. Visitation will follow until 7:00 p.m. at the Porter-Oliger-Pearson Funeral Home in Greensburg. The family will also receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Millhousen with Rev. Bill Turner officiating. Interment will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Millhousen. Memorials may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
