Batesville, In. — The Indiana Department of Transportation will move all westbound traffic to the south side of the median on I-74 near Batesville between mile marker 143 and mile marker 156 beginning Tuesday, April 16, at 6 p.m., weather permitting. Both east and westbound lanes will be restricted to single lanes with concrete barriers until approximately Nov. 1.
All I-74 exit and entrance ramps will be open to traffic.
The westbound rest area at mile marker 153 will be closed starting Monday, April 15, and will remain closed until Nov. 1. The eastbound rest area at mile marker 153 has been permanently closed since Feb. 2019.
