ST. OMER, Ind. – An overpass over I-74 near St. Paul in Decatur County is expected to close for the next 180 days beginning this week.
County Road 700 North will be shut down for a $1.2 million replacement project by INDOT contractor Beaty Construction.
Shoulder and lane closures will be in effect on I-74 while work is in progress. Intermittent stoppages are also planned on I-74 during demolition and beam setting operations.
The project is expected to be complete by October 31. Motorists are encouraged to slow down and use extra caution through work zones.
