There was only one area high school boys basketball game on January 19. The Jac-Cen-Del boys routed Shawe 72-14. It was 18-2 at the end of the first quarter.
Double figure scoring for the Eagles came from Wyatt Day with 19, Caleb Simon with 13 and Justin Swinney with 10.
The JCD reserves also won big, 68-26.
Brady Comer turned in 18 points. Both Johnny Newhart and Clark Dwenger put in nine each.
One freshman boys game from January 20 saw Batesville’s frosh score a 41-36 decision over Milan. Gage Pohlman’s 16 points and 12 from Grant Goldsmith led the first-year canines.
