Hoosier Hills Customers Under Voluntary Boil Water Advisory

(Milan, IN) – Hoosier Hills Regional Water District customers are under a voluntary Boil Advisory through Wednesday, November 5.

That’s because a water main break that occurred over the weekend.

The advisory is for customers in Ripley, Dearborn and Franklin counties.

A Boil Advisory is a precautionary measure issued by the water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.

It is recommended that you boil all water used for drinking and for food preparation for two minutes.

Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
