BATESVILLE, Ind. – Herbert Brothers plan to take their talents to the big screen. The Batesville-based production company has been hired to direct their first movie.
The film “In Between Days” is tabbed as a romantic comedy about a famous author going through a midlife crisis which takes him back to his hometown in Florida.
A film producer contacted the family about the movie after working on a set in Indiana.
“He met some of the local crew that we normally work with on projects. One of the [crew members] mentioned that it was a comedy and if they are looking for a director they should reach out to us, which they did,” said Joe Herbert, chief entertainment officer at Herbert Brothers.
Filming is set to begin January in Florida.
A camera crew followed the Batesville family around earlier this year for a reality show that has not yet aired. Joe says a premier date has not been set.
