Health Clinic Annual Fundraiser Set for January

(Batesville, IN) – The Southeast Indiana Health Center will hold its 11th annual fundraiser on Saturday, January 11, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Batesville.

Last year’s event raised more than $80,000.

This is the “Free Clinic’s” only fundraiser each year, and money raised at the event allows the health center to operate two times a week and provide other special clinics throughout the year.

The clinic is staffed for the most part by volunteers. There are two paid staff members: the Executive Director and a part-time nurse practioner.

In 2024, the clinic continued to fill the gap for those in need of health care in Ripley and Franklin counties who are income eligible or have no or high-deductible health insurance.

This year’s goal is $85,000.

Tickets are $25 and include food and beverages when the doors open at 3:30. A fried chicken dinner will be served starting at 5 p.m.

Even if you can’t attend, you can still buy a ticket because you’ll have 30 chances to win cash prizes ranging from $50 to the $3,000 grand prize.

You do not need to be present to win. All winners will be notified.
