H.S. softball recaps from May 20 and 21

The following are high school softball recaps from Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21.  All games are varsity unless noted otherwise.  There may be updates, so please check back.

North Decatur was a 12-7 winner over Batesville.

Keesha Crosland had big bat for ND with four hits and four RBI.  Kayln Muckerhide singled, doubled and tripled with a ribbie.  Kennedy Stier and Kacie Ogdon both collected two hits.  Stier plated two runs.  Ogdon brought home one and Macy Scudder turned in two RBI.

For the Bulldogs, Callie Fletcher, Sophie Lee and Kaylin Hinners all had two hits.  Lee, Emma Belter and Sarah Ripperger had a couple of ribbies each.  Ripperger’s came on a dinger.

BHS bounced back with an 11-1 victory over Jac-Cen-Del.

Renne Lecher had a three-hit game, Margaret Wilson and Callie Fletcher tallied two.  Lecher and Wilson both drove in two runs.  Fletcher had one RBI.  Belter belted a solo home run.

The Eagles only hit came from Bailey Groth.
