VERSAILLES, Ind. –The trip to the grocery store will be shorter for Versailles residents when Hometown IGA reopens Friday.
Building owners Robert and Dotty Wood took over after a lease expired in October and they will also operate the store. Doug West of Versailles will manage the grocery and oversee approximately 30 associates, the Osgood Journal reports.
The Wood family has used the past few months to clean and stock the store in advance of its opening.
The Hometown IGA will be open 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
