(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg Community Schools will have an E-Learning Day on April 8, 2024, when the next solar eclipse takes place.
Just about every school corporation in the area has decided to either close and use a make-up day or go to e-learning instruction that day because of expected heavy traffic for eclipse viewing and students looking up around 3 pm.
Also at this week’s Greensburg Community School Board meeting:
Bruce Copple’s retirement as the corporation’s Safety Director was announced. Copple has served in the role since his retirement from the Greensburg Police Department in 2008.
And the Greensburg Community School Board will start meetings at 6 pm beginning in July. This is a change from the current 7:30 pm start time.
