Greensburg JH Cross Country Traveled to Ceraland

The Greensburg Junior High Cross Country Teams traveled to Ceraland on Tuesday night to compete in the Columbus Central Classic Invitational. The Lady Pirates won the 15-team event and were crowned the 2024 Columbus Central Classic Champions while the Boys team placed 5th.

The Greensburg Girls dominated the field of 90 competitors as their front pack of 4 captured the first 5 award-winning positions. With her first individual win of the season, Central Classic Invitational Champion Eleanor Davis was the first Lady Pirate across the finish line. Joining Davis with award-winning performances were teammates in 2nd Madeline Risher, 3rd Lulu Webb, and 5th Maria Scholle. Other ladies contributing to the team championship included Hadley Davis, Kate McNulty, and Noelle Kern. Kern was the PR star of the night as she dropped 13 seconds and set a new season best time.
