(Greensburg, IN) – Greensburg City Council and the Board of Works both heard updates last night on several projects, including ongoing improvements along Washington Street downtown.

Public Projects Director Zach Wirrig says the curbs are done and crews are working on pavement repairs.

He adds milling and resurfacing is expected to take place the week of August 25.

Wirrig says the work is still expected to be finished in time for the Tree City Fall Festival, which is set for September 19 and 20.

The multiphase streetscape project started last fall.

Wirrig says the Rebekah Park Trailhead project is wrapped up, with a ribbon cutting held last month, and the Greensburg/Decatur County Public Library recently cut the ribbon on its Story Walk along the park trail.
