(Brookville, IN) – It’s been a number of years in the making, but they’ll take the wraps off the Franklin County Farmers Mutual 4-H Expo Hall at its grand opening on July 3 at 6 p.m.
The Expo Hall was completed in time for this year’s Franklin County 4-H Fair, which runs July 15th through the 20th at the fairgrounds in Brookville.
It will also be available throughout the year for weddings, plus family and class reunions, and could be used for a mass shelter area in case of a disaster, as well as other emergency needs.
The inside features seating for up to 800 people; a concession stand; state-of-the-art restrooms, and heating and air conditioning.
Community members, non-Franklin County residents, and local businesses donated to make the project a reality.
