(Greensburg, IN) – The Greensburg Police Department is urging you to not let the Grinch steal your Christmas this year.
Assistant Chief Derek Fasnacht says you should put your mail on hold if you’re going out of town, and suggests filling out a vacation patrol request on the Police Department page of the City of Greensburg’s website .
Fasnacht also recommends that you have a trusted neighbor take in and hold your delivered packages for you.
The department put out a social media post over the weekend urging residents to take the necessary steps to prevent holiday package thefts.
