GPD: Five Arrested in Vehicle Pursuits

(Greensburg, IN) – The Greensburg Police Department says its officers have been involved in several vehicle pursuits in the past three months.

Five people have been arrested, including two men from Greensburg – 18-year-old Josiah Taylor and 28-year-old Bryce Bower.

Also rounded up were 28-year-old Chase Rager of Oshkosh, Nebraska; 41-year-old Sultan Singh of Greenwood, and 45-year-old David Davidson II of Indianapolis.

All five have had their initial hearings and are awaiting the next step in the judicial process.

Police say they’re facing a lengthy list of charges including Resisting Law Enforcement Causing Serious Bodily Injury; Theft of a Motor Vehicle; Resisting Law Enforcement; Operating While
Intoxicated While Endangering; Reckless Driving; Criminal Mischief; Driving While Suspended Prior; False Identity Statement; Possession of Methamphetamine; Possession of Marijuana; and Possession of Paraphernalia.

Suspects also had outstanding warrants.

Greensburg Police received assistance in the chases and and resulting arrests from a number of agencies including the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office, the Batesville Police Department, Indiana State Police, the Columbus Police Department, Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office and Decatur County Communications.
