Governor directs flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of Bob Dole

INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Governor Eric Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff to honor the life of U.S. Senator Bob Dole.

The former Republican Presidential candidate, long-time Senator, and World War II veteran died Sunday at the age of 98.

Flags should be flown at half-staff at the Indiana Statehouse immediately until sunset on Thursday, December 9.

Governor Holcomb also asks businesses and residents to lower their flags to half-staff.
