New Point, In. — The North Branch Golf Course will host the NBC Scholarship Saturday, June 23. The NBC Scholarship keeps the memory of three local youths killed in a traffic accident on the way to detassel corn in July of 1983. Neal Nobbe, David Brown and Phil Conover make up the “NBC” of the event name.
Tee time is at 8 a.m., the cost is $60 per person and a meal is provided. There is also a chance to win $500 for a hole-in-one shot on hole #7.
