Glenn Earl Bergman, 74 of Sunman

Glenn Earl Bergman, age 74 of Sunman IN passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

He was born on July 4, 1951 to Earl & Phyllis (Steinfort) Bergman.

Glenn graduated from Sunman High School in 1969 & Purdue University in 1973. He then returned home & began farming & driving a school bus with his dad. He drove for Sunman Dearborn Schools for 51 years before retiring in early 2025.

Glenn enjoyed sports & was fond of the Cincinnati Reds & the Bengals. In 2024, he completed one of his bucket list items when he traveled to Reds Spring Training in Arizona, but his favorites were trips to Lafayette to watch basketball & football games of his beloved Purdue Boilermakers. In recent years he took over the garden & cooking duties that Mom used to do.

He is survived by brother, Dale (Donna) Bergman of Sunman and sister, Sharon (Bob) Kreuzman of Batesville; 5 nephews, Scott (Lisa) Kreuzman and Kevin (Sidney) Kreuzman of Batesville, Mark Kreuzman of Windsor, Colorado, Erik (Caitlin) Bergman of Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Kyle (Hallie) Bergman of Washington Court House, Ohio; 4 great nephews, Roger & Harry Bergman, Brooks & Walker Kreuzman and 3 great nieces, Adyline & Kiersten Kreuzman and Ellie Bergman.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his twin sister Glenna who died at birth.

Visitation will be Friday, September 5, 2025 from 9-11am with funeral services immediately following, all at Adams Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Booster officiating. Burial will follow in Adams Church Cemetery in Batesville.

Memorials may be given to the Leukemia Society by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, P.O. Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
