Girls Soccer Sectional First Round Recaps

Batesville 4, Greensburg 0

In a Class 2A-27 first round match at Beech Grove, Batesville defeated Greensburg 4-0.  The Bulldogs scored two goals in each half.  BHS netters were recorded by Billie Puente, Jada Day, Lily Meyer and Tristan Rowlett.  Assists came from Maggie Weberding and Sydney Slavin.

Greensburg coach Ryan Morlan noted the marked improvement from the regular season meeting which saw the Bulldogs beat the Pirates 10-0.  GCHS keeper Ella Lowe was faced with 27 shots and saved all bout four.  The Pirates final season record is 4-9.
