STATEWIDE — Gas prices around the state are creeping closer to a record high.
Triple-A on Tuesday said the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is now $4.14 cents.
That’s up 16 cents from the day before.
Indiana’s all-time high was in 2011 when gas hit $4.25 a gallon for regular unleaded.
The least expensive gas in the state Wednesday morning was in Scottsburg, where it was going for $3.79 a gallon.
