The Batesville freshman basketball team delivered a dramatic finish on Thursday, defeating East Central 42-41 with a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Jackson Peetz. Peetz, who scored 14 points in the game, sealed the victory with his clutch shot, while Eli Denni led the team in scoring with 16 points.
