(St. Leon, IN) – The National Weather Service will hold storm spotter training in the East Central High School Performing Arts Center on February 21 at 7 p.m.
The class is being conducted in partnership with the Dearborn, Ripley and Franklin County emergency management agencies.
Attendees will learn about various types of significant weather that impact Southeastern Indiana, including flooding, ice and snow, and severe storms.
You’ll be a certified storm spotter at the end of the training, and will be able to submit storm reports to the National Weather Service.
The session is class, and registration is not required.
