Greensburg, IN — Beginning January 1, the Greensburg Police Department will be offering free Stop the Bleed training to businesses and organizations within the CIty of Greensburg.
Through the STOP THE BLEED® course, you’ll gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and intervene effectively. The person next to a bleeding victim may be the one who’s most likely to save him or her. Taking the course could mean the difference between life or death when a bleeding emergency occurs.
This training usually lasts around 90 minutes according to officials and will offer hands-on training, so that individuals are comfortable after the course is concluded. If you are interested in this training, please contact Chief Brendan Bridges at the Greensburg Police Department 812-663-3131, so that training can be set up for your organization.
