Milan, IN —Friday evening the Milan Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to 450 West for a structure fire. The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was also called to the scene through automatic mutual aid.
Once crews arrived on the scene, it was reported that it was a fully involved fire of the home. Versailles Volunteer Fire Department, Delaware Volunteer Fire Department, and Dillsboro Volunteer Fire Department also provided mutual aid at the scene. There were no reports of injuries, but unfortunately, the home was a total loss.

Also, The Hog Rock Cafe, victims of their own fire on Thanksgiving, will be hosting a fundraiser for the family this Saturday at the Milan Legion starting at 4 pm on Saturday, December 19. This dinner is a drive-thru event and will include 1 full rack of ribs and baked potato with butter and sour cream for $25.00
