Freda Kaiser, 87, of Milan passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Ripley Crossing in Milan. Freda was born Monday, May 18, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of Hiram Sr. and Nancy (Combs) Poore. She married William “Bill” Kaiser April 13, 1956 and he survives. She worked at Monsanto as a former Corporate Secretary; former member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lawrenceburg, IN; member of Versailles Chapter 333, Order of the Eastern Star; former member of the National Secretaries Association and former Rosie Red.
Freda is survived by husband Bill, daughter Connie Branigan; brother: Kenneth “Kenny” Debbie Poore all of Milan. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Fred Poore and Hiram Jr. Poore; sister: Christina Poore; son-in-law: Robert “Bob” Branigan.
A service celebrating her life will be held Saturday 1 PM January 26, 2019 at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home in Milan with Pastor Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Cliff Hill Cemetery in Versailles. Family and friends may gather to honor and remember her Saturday 10AM-1PM also at the funeral home. Eastern Star Service will be at 12:45PM.
