Brookville, IN—Franklin County Health Officials are reporting two more deaths over the weekend that are suspected to be related to COVID-19. Both were males and in their 70’s. One patient was reportedly under a doctor’s care at an Indiana hospital, the other was under doctor’s care at an Ohio hospital. No further information about the patient will be released due to privacy laws.
Officials also received notice of eleven new positive cases over the weekend, bringing Franklin County’s totals to 34 positives for coronavirus. All eleven new cases are adults with the youngest in their 20’s.
The Franklin County Health Department announced that one Franklin County resident currently in an Indiana hospital is recovering. The patient recovering is a male in his 80’s, has been removed from a ventilator and is breathing on his own.
