Franklin Co. Posts Election Deadlines

(Franklin County, IN) – The last day for Franklin County residents to register to vote or to transfer your registration is Monday, April 6 by 4 p.m. in the County Clerk’s Office.

You may also register to vote online at Indianavoters.in.gov as well as update your registration, check polling locations and/or request an absentee ballot.

Tuesday, April 7, is the first day that a voter may cast their ballot before the early voter board in the Franklin County Courthouse on Main Street in Brookville.

 Those hours are:

  •  April 7 thru April 10 – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  •  April 13 thru April 17 – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  •  April 20 thru April 24 – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  •  April 27 thru May 1 – 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On back-to-back Thursdays, April 23 and 30, voting hours will be extended until 7 p.m.

Saturday voting will take place on April 25 and May 2 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the Franklin County Clerk’s Office and Ignite Church (the former Church on Fire) at 1170 State Road 229 in Batesville.

Monday, May 4 at Noon is the last day to vote an early ballot before the early voter board in the Clerk’s Office.

Voters who wish to cast ballots by mail or have the traveling board come to their house to vote, may contact the Clerk’s office for an Absentee Ballot Application.

Thursday, April 23 is the last day for the Clerk’s Office to receive an application to vote by mail.
