Former State Senator Elected GOP Chair

(Indianapolis, IN) – Former State Sen. Randy Head has been elected Indiana Republican Party Chair.

He succeeds Anne Hathaway, who resigned after 10 months chairing the state GOP.

Head served in the State Senate from 2008 to 2019, and represented District 18, which is in Northwestern Indiana.

He received his bachelors degree from Wabash College in 1991 and his law degree from Indiana University-Maurer School of Law in 1994.

Head has served as a deputy prosecuting attorney and has been in civil practice for a total of 28 years.
